I had a conversation with a woman today on social media about leaving an abuser and the difficulty and confusion that she was experiencing. We spoke about the cycle of abuse, how narcissistic individuals can put on certain personas in public but act like complete monsters behind closed doors. Abuse is a very interesting animal and something that most wont understand.. honestly, the victims dont even understand. A lot of times they (we) dont leave the situation because we dont know or understand that we're being abused. Being on the other side of healing at this point, educating others and helping them to realize their worthiness is one of my biggest goals. I plan to spend the next few days blogging about self care, how to spot important red flags and how to recognize a narcissist. Hope to help as many Queens as possible.. this is a cycle that can be broken.
