So let's talk about boundaries... part of the reason we as women cant escape difficult situations is because of manipulation and lack of boundaries. Have you ever dated someone who constantly did dirt, lied, disrespected...whatever the issue.. but whenever you spoke up or wanted to leave, they found a way to make you feel bad about it? Guilt tripped you into staying? Or all of a sudden, even if they could never remember plans before, they can recall a bunch of plans you've made as a couple, trying to pull at your heart strings...These are all types of manipulation.. I can look back and smirk...not quire laugh... at certain things I've gone through and put up with and it was just blatant disrespect.. Like wow, was my self esteem that much in the gutter?.. I really let men take advantage of me, my mind, my loyalty and my heart.. because I thought I loved them. How many of us have been labeled the crazy ex girlfriend because you walked away and set standards that your ex could not meet? You're not crazy and you're not trippin... being single gets lonely, it's hard. But don't go back to the bullshit, just to say oh I won or I still have him. Set your standards, keep your boundaries and keep your head high. These dudes arent going anywhere, sis. And really thats the sad part. Keep moving.
